Jacques Villeneuve Sr won the Labatt's Can-Am at Mosport driving the Canadian Tire Racing Frissbee GR3 - Chevrolet V8. Jim Crawford was second, Michael Roe third, Hurley Haywood fourth, and Horst Kroll rounded out the top five. A fatal crash on lap 35 claimed the life of Mike Allen of California.
